Approveit Guide: Inbound Zapier Integration

1. Create a workflow in Approveit. In the Form Section choose Custom form type. Activate post-approval actions and choose an app data in which will trigger approval requests. If you can not find your app in the list choose Zapier 

2. Create new Zap

3. Choose the app the data in which will create an approval request 

4. Specify the event that will trigger the approval request 

5. Specify the trigger (specify when in particular approval requests will be triggered)

6. Test your trigger

7. In step 2 find Approveit App

8. Specify the Event – Create Approval Request 

9. Sign in

Follow the link, log in Approveit account (if you are not logged in) and you will see the API key

Copy the link and paste it to Zapier 

10. Specify the data that will be included in approval requests

11. Insert Workflow Key 

Workflow Key can be found in the Workflows section: 

Test action. If everything is set up correctly -> you will see the message like that ‘Approval Request was sent to Approveit about 7 seconds ago’
