Vendor pre-approval Pipeline set-up

  1. In the Workflows section you need to create two workflows: one for vendor approval, one for bill approval

1.1 For the vendor approval workflow:

Choose Vendor Approval template

Choose Vendor approval form in the Data Section of the workflow builder:

Specify approvers for the new vendors created in the Assignees section of the workflow builder

1.2 For the bill approval workflow:

Choose Bill approval workflow

Choose Custom form in the Data section of the workflow builder 

Select the fields on the right and they will appear on the left. Make sure to include the Vendor field in your workflow

Specify the approvers in the Assignees section of the workflow builder 

2.Create a pipeline

3. Name the pipeline and click to add the first stage 

4. Give the name of the stage and select the Bill approval workflow that you have created in 1.2. 

Activate Vendor preapproval process 

Click Save

5. Select the preapproval stage that was auto-generated 

6. Give the name of the stage and select the Vendor approval workflow that you have created in 1.1

Click Save

7Save the pipeline 

8. You have created the pipeline!

9To launch the pipeline you can click the ‘Play’ button

10. All approved vendors are stored in the Accounting Section -> Vendors 

Admins can add the vendors in this section as well
